What year is August?
Leap August is a leap month with medium frequency, which is second only to leap April, leap June and leap July. Generally, it occurs once every 19 years (such as 1957 and 1976), and sometimes it occurs once every 8 years (such as 2454 and 2462) or 165438. When there is an interval of 38 years (such as 1680, 17 18) or a multiple of 19 (such as 2845,2921year, with an interval of 76 years, 76 is/kloc-0).
For example, in 2462 and 2557, the interval is 95 years, and 95 is 5 times of 19), while in other cases, the interval is greater than 19 but not greater than 38 years (for example, in 2796 and 2826, the interval is 30 years), or even more, it is greater than 100.
The rules of leap August
According to the current leap system, August in the lunar calendar must include the autumnal equinox, and September in the lunar calendar must include the first frost. If the leap August is not arranged, the first frost will appear on the first day of October.
As a result, the spring equinox, summer solstice, autumn equinox and winter solstice of 1996 will be in March, June, September and1February respectively, so that the solar terms of the lunar calendar will be completely disrupted. In order to avoid this situation, it is more appropriate to arrange a leap August in the lunar calendar 1995.
