4, love: men and women exchange cups, if the relationship between the two has not yet been established, there is a trace of love and pursuit, if the relationship has been established, it represents the deep love between couples.
The method of making cups is as follows:
1. Prepare chemical elements such as copper, tin and lead first.
2. Make a model of a cup with beeswax, then fill the mud core with other refractory materials and coat it on the outside. After heating and baking, the wax mold is completely melted and lost, making the whole cup mold an empty shell.
3. Melt the original material, then pour the molten liquid into it, and then cast it into the vessel. After solidification, a bronze cup is obtained.
The origin of the word "cup":
1, the word "cup" comes from "Yan", which means hands clasped together. The earliest cups were oval with ears on both sides, also called ear cups. You should drink them with both hands. In Shang and Zhou dynasties, some bronze tassels for drinking had handles, while lacquer ear cups in Han dynasty had ears, which was equivalent to the function of handles.
2. Ear cups can float on the water, but ceramics can't, and bronze can't, so it needs wooden lacquer ware, so the word "cup" comes from "wood". During the Han and Tang dynasties, lacquerware was replaced by porcelain, and porcelain cups were no longer oval, but round. This is because porcelain is painted on a unicycle, and it is more convenient to make it round.
The history of cups
1. The history of cups can be traced back to around 5000 BC. The earliest cups were carved from stone or wood. Later, with the development of human civilization, cups made of pottery, glass and metal also appeared one after another. In China, bronze cups in Shang and Zhou Dynasties, pottery cups in Han Dynasty and porcelain cups in Tang Dynasty are all milestones in the development of China cups.
2. In Europe, the ancient Greeks began to use cups made of pottery, and the ancient Romans began to use glass cups. In modern society, there are more and more kinds of cups, besides traditional ceramic, glass and metal cups, there are also cups made of new materials such as plastic and paper cups.
