Where is Rezu's hometown?
The sixth day of the third lunar month is the legendary Lei Zu's birthday. Early in the morning, a group of 100 people took four buses and headed for Xiping East Bridge, the hometown of Leizu, against the morning wind.
People sitting in the car, talking and laughing, speaking freely, the topic is naturally inseparable from Lei Zu. Lei Zu is Ji Zheng of Xuanyuan Huangdi. Sima Qian's Historical Records records: "The Yellow Emperor lived in Xuanyuan Mountain and married the daughter of Xiling as Leizu." Lei Zu is the daughter of Xiling, the leader of Xiling. According to "Notes on Shuijing", "Its Xilu site, namely Xiling Pavilion, and Xiling Pingyi are called Xiping." Dongqiao (Lvwei) Village in Lvdian Township, Xiping County is the birthplace of the silkworm god Leizu.
According to legend, when Leizu went up the mountain to pick wild fruits, he found that the trees were covered with white balls, which could not be bitten or chewed. After picking them, he cooked them in a pot, but they were not cooked well. Holding a stick and stirring it, I found that some white hair-like silk was wrapped around the stick, which was very strong, so it was used to weave animal skins and used as thread. One day, she was covered with a big spider web. I didn't know what it was, so she ran to the river to take pictures, as if covered with a veil. After observation, she found that both spiders and silkworms can spin silk. Can you weave silk into a net? After hard work, Lei Zu wove silk into yarn, which was appreciated by the Yellow Emperor. The Yellow Emperor sent someone to propose to the toast of Xiling. After the chief agreed, Lei Zu put on his wedding dress and married the Yellow Emperor. Later, people called this bug silkworm, and the spun yarn was called silk. After the merger of Huangdi and Yan Di, Yan Di was in charge of crop production, and Huangdi was in charge of mulberry planting, sericulture and silk reeling. Lei Zu assisted the Yellow Emperor, worked at sunrise and stopped at sunset, helped her husband teach, turned silkworms into clothes, unified the Central Plains and laid the foundation for the country, so she was called Mother.
In ancient times, only wild cotton or hides could be used to make clothes, and people far away from tribal centers could only hang some leaves. It was Leizu's invention of sericulture and clothing that ended the barbaric era of nudity. After the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, Leizu was revered as a god by later generations, known as the wild silkworm. As a silkworm god, he was worshipped by later generations as a fairy silkworm empress. He once built a Niangniang Temple in Shiling Town to worship the silkworm god. Later, the temple continued to expand and became a seven-story courtyard with unique design, seven-level relief, pine and ginkgo trees, and lush. On the sixth day of the third lunar month, people will hold a three-day temple fair, sing big plays and worship their ancestors in Lei Zu. Now Leizu Temple doesn't exist, but the site is still there.
Come to Leizu Mausoleum, take a deep breath, relax, and have a wordless communication with the respected Leizu. At this time, the breeze blows over your cheeks, and through the clear rain, the precipitation of history becomes more exquisite, which makes people feel satisfied and gratified in the quiet and peaceful environment of nature.
At the beginning of the commemorative ceremony, 36 salutes were fired and resounded through the sky. At this time, the vast sky is filled with the breath of ancient civilization. Accompanied by the ode "The First Silkworm Queen", comrades of the Yanhuang Cultural Research Association in cities and counties presented flower baskets, and Chinese businessmen and overseas people paid homage to them. As a descendant of the Chinese people, falling leaves is a common saying of the Chinese nation in the final analysis, and it is also a comfort to Lei Zu.
The seventh item of the ceremony was to sing carols, led by 50 primary school students: "Princess Xuanyuan was the first silkworm queen, and she began to teach people to make clothes with silkworms. She has been honored by China for 5,000 years, and her name will remain immortal ... "Her childish face, set off by a red skirt, is like a delicate flower, and the crisp children's voice reminds me of my innocent childhood. Standing on this sacred land, I seem to see my neighbor's aunt running while knitting, and I seem to hear the clicking sound of looms, which is the harmonious movement played by camel bells on the Silk Road. At this time, cigarettes are lingering, filled with 5,000 years of cooking smoke, and the splendid culture of 5,000 years blends with the glorious tradition of the Chinese nation.
The last item of the ceremony was a folk memorial service. Dozens of villagers' representatives held incense sticks and lined up neatly, waiting for this moment. The traditional ways and procedures of offering sacrifices to the gods are: welcoming the gods, burning incense, offering sacrifices, worshipping, dancing and offering sacrifices to the gods, which echoes the paragraph level of the ode to the First Silkworm Queen. After the ceremony, I took another look at the East Bridge, where the original dirt road became a cement road and the small tile house became a bungalow and a building. The row of houses with looms on the west side of the village was washed away by the "July 8" flood in early years, and now it is a lush wheat field. Time flies, more than 20 years have passed, and those familiar faces are still in my heart. I can't name each other at a glance. It is really "the flowers in my neighbor's house are gone, and I pity Yu Fang, and my face is full of tears." Most of the children I played with went to work in big cities, leaving regrets and mental pain in this familiar and unfamiliar country.
After passing Shiling, I also saw someone singing opera. Maybe it's also a memorial service for Lei Zu. After I came back, I couldn't be calm for a long time. The lasting appeal of that commemorative carol has been echoing in my chest: "Silkworms are blessed with fairy dew first, mulberry trees are busy with silkworms, and silkworms are revered from generation to generation."
