First, select improved varieties.

Second, cultivate strong seedlings.

If Chinese cabbage seeds are exposed to low temperature after germination in spring, they will bolt early in vernalization stage, resulting in yield loss. If the temperature is low during seedling raising, seedlings can be raised in a small arch shed covered with plastic film, which plays the role of cold protection and heat preservation and is beneficial to seedling growth.

Third, apply sufficient base fertilizer.
