Is the wiring of the throttle position sensor damaged, such as short circuit? Replace with a new sensor.
Generally, there is no problem with vehicles without this sensor. Without the throttle position signal, the computer will have no way to judge the actual position of the throttle.
The consequences vary from car to car. Some cars will go into protected mode, that is, limping home. After entering this mode, the computer will not allow the speed to be too fast, and keep the maximum speed at 40 kilometers per hour.
Some vehicles only increase fuel consumption and have no effect on the engine.
This is the throttle potentiometer 1 signal and the throttle potentiometer 2 signal. When the key door is open (not on fire), the voltage of potentiometer 1 signal is about 4.5 volts, and the voltage of potentiometer 2 is about 0.45 volts. When the accelerator pedal is fully depressed, the signal voltage of potentiometer 1 is about 0.45v, while the signal voltage of potentiometer 2 becomes 4.5v.. These two voltage signals are exactly the process of inversion. An increase, a decrease and an increase.
