Cicada is silent and full of remnants.
Cold dew is the seventeenth solar term in the twenty-four solar terms of the lunar calendar and belongs to the fifth solar term in autumn. Every year1October 8 or 9, when the sun reaches longitude 195, it is cold dew. Cold dew means that the temperature is lower than that of the white dew, and the dew on the ground is colder and will soon condense into frost. White dew, cold dew and first frost all indicate the phenomenon of water vapor condensation, and cold dew is the transition from cold to cold.
Meteorological change
In the cold dew season, dew increases and the temperature decreases. At this time, frost will appear in some parts of China. In the north, it is already a scene of late autumn, with white clouds and red leaves and occasional early frost. In the south, autumn is getting stronger and cicadas are dying.
Traditionally, China thought "dew" was a symbol of cold weather. The solar term of the Mid-Autumn White Dew is "dew condenses white", and it is already "dew cold, it will condense into frost" when it is cold in season and autumn.
