Will the big cat come back to feed the kitten after abandoning it?

It is unlikely that the mother cat will come back to see it. The owner can artificially feed the kittens, and if the method is proper, they can generally survive.

Grind raw slices with lactase, mix them in milk and feed them in pet bottles (the smaller the nipple, the better). Cats should use special milk powder, and those who don't use a section of milk powder; Milk is not easy to digest. If you don't have milk powder on hand, you can temporarily replace it with milk. Kittens who don't accept pacifiers can be fed with a one-milliliter needle tube (the needle has been removed), and the needle holder (the reserved hose of 1.5 cm) of the intravenous infusion set is cut and connected with a one-milliliter needle tube (see the picture below, I wonder if the picture shows it). When operating, push the tube 0.02 ml each time, which is easy to choke if it is too fast. For the first two weeks, feed milk every 3 hours, 2 ~ 3 ml each time. After that, you can feed it every 4 to 5 hours, 4 to 5 ml each time, until the deciduous teeth grow well and you can eat soft food by yourself. ?

Generally, deciduous teeth can grow out in 6 weeks, and you can start feeding soft food (soak baby cat food with warm water or milk powder). For example, if the kitten is still unwilling to eat soft food by herself at the age of 6 weeks, it is not recommended to forcibly wean and change food. This is also very common for individuals who need to be fed for about 8 weeks. Personally, it is suggested to start feeding soft food about 6 months until the permanent teeth grow out, and then gradually change to hard food, which can reduce the occurrence of urinary system diseases. Hard food swells in the stomach when it meets water. Although animals are thirsty, they may not want to drink more water because they are full. If they do this for a long time, they are prone to urinary system diseases.

Generally speaking, kittens under the full moon don't defecate by themselves. Under normal circumstances, the mother cat will lick them clean. Without the care of the mother cat, the owner often wipes the anus and genitals with cotton balls to stimulate defecation and urination (it is normal for a kitten to have loose feces during lactation). If the kitten has abdominal distension and doesn't want to eat, it may be caused by the accumulation of feces and urine. It should be treated as soon as possible to avoid danger.

Newborn kittens have delicate skin, are not suitable for exposure, are easily burned by strong light, and are allergic to sunlight. Avoid wind blowing, which may lead to hypothermia and death. You can put it on the electric heating pad and use the low temperature gear until you can walk on your own after one month.

Young cats within three months should not take a bath, ranging from catching a cold to dying of circulatory failure due to hypothermia. But you can clean it with a cotton ball dipped in warm water, then use toilet paper to absorb the water, and then be sure to keep warm.

A week-old cat should be able to open its eyes. If it doesn't open, it may be caused by secretions in the eyes sticking to the eyelids. It should be wiped with warm water. If it is red and swollen, apply a small amount of erythromycin eye ointment to diminish inflammation after wiping.

In terms of medication, it is dangerous for young cats to use drugs even according to the baby's amount, and the dose is too large. In case of severe inflammation (such as persistent watery diarrhea or frequent cough and asthma), oral penicillin drugs are relatively safe, and are generally administered at a dose of 1 1 ~ 22mg per kilogram of body weight. For example, a kitten weighing more than100g can only eat 2.5 mg, that is, 1/64 tablets, if taking the human medicine Yulinga (amoxicillin clavulanate potassium dispersible tablets). The liver, kidney and other major organs of kittens are underdeveloped, and their metabolic function is weak, so it is not easy to use drugs all over the body. Generally, after one month (all the deciduous teeth are out), the side effects are relatively small.
