If the pneumatic brake fails, first check whether there is an indication from the barometer and whether there is compressed air in the air storage tank.

1. If the barometer indicates zero and there is no compressed air in the air storage tank, remove the air outlet pipe of the air compressor, start the engine and check the compressed air quantity of the air compressor. If the air compressor does not compress air, check whether the belt of the air compressor is broken or skidded; Check whether the air inlet valve of the air compressor is well sealed, whether the spring is broken and whether the pressure reducing valve is invalid.

2. If the air compressor is well compressed, check whether the pipelines from the compressor to the air storage tank and from the air storage tank to the brake regulating valve are leaking. If the barometer is normal and there is compressed air in the air storage tank, check the brake adjustment device of the brake system. Press the brake pedal to test. If the barometer reading does not drop or drops slightly, check whether the brake pedal is disengaged from the pull arm of the brake regulating valve. Whether the free stroke of the brake pedal is too large; Whether the push rod of the brake regulating valve is stuck.

3. If the braking efficiency suddenly fails after wading, it is because the brakes are flooded and not cleaned in time. Therefore, after wading, you should lightly step on the brake pedal several times to drain the water in the brake.
