What's with the epc light on the car?

When the epc light is on, it means that the electronic stability system of the engine is out of order, which is very common among the public. Reasons may include dirty throttle, blocked or leaked air intake system and substandard fuel quality. When the epc light is on, the vehicle will appear cold start jitter, and the speed will be unstable when idling. In another case, the epc light is on when the engine self-checks or the system misreports, which will not affect the normal use of the vehicle.

Dirty throttle: oil vapor adheres to the throttle plate and combines with a small amount of dust in the air to form sludge. After a long time, carbon deposits will form, causing the throttle to close and get stuck. It can be solved by cleaning the dirty throttle.

Air intake system is blocked or leaked: if the air intake pipe and crankcase ventilation system are blocked or leaked, EPC light will be on. Before judging this fault, be careful not to pull out the dipstick and open the fuel cap when the engine is running, which will cause false alarm.
