1, clear dew

Millennium solar terms, due to the increasing temperature difference between day and night, water vapor condenses into water droplets, and small water droplets attach to the vast land flowers and plants. This morning, people got up early, and everyone brought tools to collect dew.

Step 2 drink Bailu tea

"Drinking tea, autumn dew", the folk believe that from the solar term of Bailu to October of the lunar calendar, the tea trees at this time experienced the intense heat and ushered in the best growing period of the year, so many people have a special liking for "Bailu tea". Bailu tea is green tea, which is warm and cool, without the bitterness of summer tea and the tenderness of spring tea.

Step 3 eat longan

Every September, the southern longan enters the mature harvest period, while Fujian has the habit of egrets eating longan. There are many ways to eat longan, and the most distinctive one is longan fragrant rice porridge, which tastes excellent.

4. Sacrifice Yu Wang

Dayu, the hero of water control, has been admired for generations, especially the fishermen on Taihu Lake. Sacrificial ceremonies are held four times a year, namely, the eighth day of the lunar calendar, Qingming Festival, July 7th and Bailu Festival, among which Qingming Festival and Bailu Festival are the most grand and last for one week.

5, ten kinds of white

In Zhejiang and other places, the Millennium pays attention to collecting "ten kinds of whites" on this day, that is, ten kinds of white foods, usually Chinese herbal medicines with white prefixes, such as Bai Fa Ku and Bai Furong, and stews them with chickens and ducks.
