The fuel cut-off of Shepherd 4000 can be solved by checking electric fuel pump, fuel filter and oil pressure regulator, measuring fuel pressure, electric fuel pump pressure and holding pressure, detecting engine air-fuel ratio and adjusting spark plug gap.

Herdsman 4000 engine may be cut off because of too large or too small spark plug gap, too low oil pressure in fuel system, dirty nozzle, failure of accelerator pedal position sensor or accelerator position sensor, etc. Measures such as checking fuel pump can be taken to improve it.
