Where is the ancient Yuezhou?

Yuezhou, an ancient place name, is now Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province.

Song dynasty in southern dynasties

Yuezhou was established in Taishi seven years (AD 47 1 year) by Liu Song in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and the state capital is located in Linzhang, just beside the Tian Yang Lake in Poziping, Shi Chong Township, Pubei County, Guangdong Province. Linglinzhang, Bailiang, Su Long, Yongning, Anchang, Fuchang, Nanliu, Hepu and Songshou counties.

There are 20 counties in Yueling of Southern Qi: Linzhang, Hepu, Su Long, Bailiang, Anchang, Yantian, Fengshan, Nanliu, Dingchuan, Qining, Beiliu, Luchuan, Mamen, Yue Zhong, Gaoxing, Yongning, Qi Kang, Wuchunli, Fuchang and Sizhu.

After the first year of Tian Liang Prison (502), Yuezhou moved to Hepu County (the old state of Quanshui Town, Pubei County). In the first year of Datong (546), he commanded Yongning, Su Long, Fuchang, Sizhu, Yantian, Luchuan and Qining counties.

Chen Yuezhou led Hepu, Bailiang, Fengshan, Sulong and Dingchuan counties.

Urban change

In the first year of Sui Daye (605), Yuezhou was renamed Luzhou.

In the third year of Daye (607), Luzhou merged with Hezhou (now Leizhou Peninsula) and was called Hezhou. In the same year, Hezhou was renamed Hepu County, which belonged to Yangzhou and governed 1 1 county, and Hepu County was governed by the county.

In the fifth year of Tang Wude (622), Hepu County was renamed Yuezhou. In the same year, some counties in Hepu County set up Anchang, Gaocheng, Dalian and Dadu, all of which belonged to Yuezhou.

In the eighth year of Zhenguan (634), Yuezhou was renamed Lianzhou.
