1, origin and establishment
Millennium, as a solar term, originated in ancient China. It first appeared in The Biography of Shangshu, and was called the "Millennium Moon". With the accumulation of ancient astronomy, meteorology and farming knowledge, the Millennium solar terms have been gradually established and become an important part of the 24 solar terms.
2. Climate and agriculture
The white dew season is in autumn, when the cold air in the north begins to go south and meets the warm and humid airflow in the south, forming a thin layer of water vapor, which condenses into crystal clear dew and falls on the grass and leaves, so it is called "white dew". Millennium solar terms reflect the change of natural temperature, which means that the heat in summer has passed and the coolness in autumn is coming.
