Grave-sweeping and ancestor worship are the main activities in Tomb-Sweeping Day. In our Hubei area, Tomb-Sweeping Day has the custom of "hanging paper". For Jingzhou people, Tomb-Sweeping Day is also called "inserting green flowers". People cut out stripes with colored paper, and then hung them on one end of bamboo sticks, making them "Qingming Hanging" and inserting them in front of ancestors' graves. But besides remembering ancestors, Qingming has many other customs.
Flying kites: In ancient China, flying kites was not only a recreational activity, but also people thought that flying kites could make their bad luck disappear.

As a solar term, Qingming is not a fixed day. This is a rough time frame. Generally speaking, 108 from winter to the future is Qingming, that is, around April 5. But as a festival, Qingming is fixed on April 5 every year.

Tomb-Sweeping Day is not an ordinary festival. In 2006, China listed it as the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage.
