How to raise orchids

1, soil: Chinese cymbidium likes moist soil environment, so it is best to choose acid soil which is not sticky and has good air permeability, so that its roots can grow better.

2. Illumination: We should receive sunlight properly, but we should take shading measures in summer, otherwise the leaves will turn yellow or even stop growing. It is best to let it accept astigmatism, and the sunlight should not be too strong. In winter, we should increase the sunshine appropriately, but pay attention to the temperature to avoid frostbite.

3. Fertilization: It is not strict with fertilizer, and it can grow normally even without fertilization. You can choose to apply dilute liquid fertilizer to it in spring and autumn every year, and when it enters the dormant period, you don't have to continue to apply fertilizer.

4. Temperature: In general, the temperature should be controlled at 20-28℃. Below 20℃, growth will become slow, above 30℃, it will hibernate. In winter, the daytime temperature is controlled at 10- 16℃ and the nighttime temperature is controlled at 5- 10℃.

5. Water: Rain or snow water is the best water for orchids. If you need to water Cymbidium hybridum with tap water, you must expose it to the sun for a day before applying it. Water the buds with a watering can, and don't spray water into the buds, so as not to cause rot. Don't take a shower in summer, be sure to use film to keep out the rain.
