How to clean the throttle valve of modern famous map

First of all, if there is a plastic heat shield on the engine, it needs to be removed first. When the hood is removed, we can usually see the throttle. Some air pipes are connected around the throttle. We need to take these pipes apart and remember the location of each pipe.

After the air line on the throttle is removed, the whole throttle can be removed. Trent's throttle is fixed on the engine block with four bolts, and we can quickly remove it with suitable tools.

Cleaning the throttle is mainly to remove carbon deposits on it. We can use special throttling cleaning liquid or detergent. It should be noted here that the cleaning principle of this cleaning agent is to dissolve carbon deposit, and its composition is harmful to human body. It is best to wear gloves and masks when cleaning.

Spray the cleaning agent to the position with more carbon deposits on the throttle, and wait for the carbon deposits to dissolve for about 5- 10 minutes. Brushes can speed up the removal of carbon deposits.

When the stains on the throttle are completely dissolved, you can wipe the detergent inside the throttle with a clean towel. Install the cleaned throttle valve on the machine body according to the original position. Then install all the air pipes to complete the whole process of cleaning the throttle valve.
