Hand-made red lanterns

1. Cut out a rectangular red cardboard, and draw two horizontal lines about 1cm away from the upper and lower sides of the cardboard with a pencil. Draw several vertical lines between the two horizontal lines and divide them into equal parts.

2. Fold the cardboard along two horizontal lines, and then cut it along the vertical line with a utility knife.

3. Wrap the cut cardboard horizontally into a cylinder and seal it with glue stick or double-sided tape. The main body of the lantern is finished.

4. Cut out two strips of paper with a width of about 1cm on the yellow cardboard and stick them on the upper and lower ends of the lamp body respectively.

5. Decorate them to complete the handmade lanterns.
