Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft will achieve several firsts, namely, the first autonomous rapid radial rendezvous and docking with the three-chamber assembly, and the first long-term in-orbit docking for six months, thus realizing the long-term in-orbit flight of the assembly composed of four manned spacecraft.

The Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation undertakes the power subsystem, docking mechanism subsystem, propulsion module structure and assembly, measurement and control communication subsystem, overall circuit subsystem, propulsion module cable network and three-module power distributor of Shenzhou 13. Shenzhou XIII will rendezvous and dock with the 49-ton space station module for the first time.

Shenzhou XIII mission:

1. The manned spacecraft will make its first radial stop at the space station through autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking.

2. By then, China Space Station will realize the combined operation of core module, two cargo spacecraft and 1 manned spacecraft.

The astronauts will stay in orbit for six months for the first time, which is also the normal stay period of astronauts during the operation of the space station.

4. China will have a female astronaut stationed in China Space Station for the first time, astronaut Wang Yaping will also be the first female astronaut in China to carry out extravehicular activities, and the crew of Shenzhou XIII will also include male and female astronauts who left China for the first time.

5. On the basis of the Shenzhou-12 mission, further carry out more space science experiments and technical experiments to produce high-level scientific achievements.
