What are the types of motorcycle carburetors and how to adjust them?

At underbone, the carburetor mixture is basically screwed to the bottom and then withdrawn for one and a half turns. Some cars can also pull out the mixing screw once.

The air of this carburetor mixes with the air controlled by the spiral. When tightening clockwise, less air enters and the mixture becomes thicker; when tightening counterclockwise, more air is exhausted and the mixture becomes thinner. However, this screw controls the intake nozzle. As long as it retreats to a certain extent, the engine speed will not change even if the air inlet is fully opened, because no more air will be taken in.

Simple adjustment: first screw the mixture screw to the end, then quit for one and a half turns, then start the engine to warm up, and then adjust the idle speed to the normal standard after the engine is fully warmed up. If you want to continue the adjustment, you can gently turn the mixture screw left and right, and then adjust the idle speed when you feel that the engine speed is the highest, but this adjustment is generally not needed. Many cars will not obviously change the speed by adjusting the mixture screw on the basis of the previous adjustment.

As long as the engine is not turned off, the idle speed is not as low as possible, but the engine must be kept running stably and continuously. Too low idle speed will make the oil supply of oil pump small, and poor lubrication will increase wear. Moreover, when the idle speed is too low, the engine will rely more on the inertia of the crankshaft to maintain operation, which will increase the noise and vibration of the engine for a long time.

It is best to mix by someone with maintenance experience, and it is best not to move after mixing.
