What are college classes like?
Classes at the university are pretty good. Class patterns vary from university to university and from program to program. Generally, classes are held Monday through Friday, with Saturday and Sunday off, and some majors hold classes on weekends and evenings. University courses are divided into compulsory and elective, freshman and sophomore year are basic courses and specialized basic courses, and junior and senior year are mainly specialized courses.
In the university's class pattern, generally speaking, the university's courses seem to be much more relaxed than high school, usually only 4~6 classes a day (45 minutes a section). And often there will be 8 classes today and 2 classes tomorrow. There is a lot of rich time. However, college courses are very fast-paced and span a wide range of subjects that require review and prep in class. There's actually not a lot of rich time at all to really learn.
