Which ammonia nitrogen removal process has the best removal effect?
Biochemical treatment is a common method to deal with excessive ammonia nitrogen. Proper management will have a good removal effect on ammonia nitrogen, even COD and total phosphorus. However, there are many limiting factors in biochemical treatment, such as site, temperature, influent concentration and carbon-nitrogen ratio, which will affect the decomposition of ammonia nitrogen by organic matter to some extent, resulting in unsatisfactory effluent effect. Generally, it is used in combination with chemical agents after biochemical treatment to achieve higher removal efficiency.
(1) biochemical treatment:
The common denitrification process is our common AO process. Principle: Ammonia (NH3) is oxidized to nitrite by nitrifying bacteria, and nitrite is oxidized to nitric acid by nitrifying bacteria, which is called nitrification. Nitrification requires oxygen, and when the dissolved oxygen concentration in water is lower than 1 ~ 2 mg/L, the nitrification speed is obviously reduced. In the absence of dissolved oxygen in water, when denitrifying bacteria can reduce nitric acid to nitrous acid, nitrous acid, hydroxylamine or nitrogen, this process is called nitric acid reduction, and when the formed gaseous nitrogen is released as a metabolite and lost from the system, it is called denitrification.
(2) Chemical treatment agent:
Pac and PAM can deal with the ammonia nitrogen exceeding the standard caused by SS (the practical application is not big, and the ammonia nitrogen value can be reduced)
Ozone can remove ammonia nitrogen in advance at the end of the process (high cost, large energy consumption and difficult to control)
Adding ammonia nitrogen remover JN- 1 to oxidize ammonia nitrogen into nitrogen is a widely used method in sewage treatment industry at present. The added ammonia nitrogen remover can be directly put into the sedimentation tank of the original process, and the reaction time of the agent is about 5-6min, without adding additional equipment and technology, thus greatly reducing the cost.
Compared with the method of removing ammonia nitrogen from wastewater, the ammonia nitrogen remover is simple in operation and less in dosage, and the ammonia nitrogen removal rate reaches over 96%. The cost is controllable, the treatment result is stable, and there is no secondary pollution. At the same time, it has the functions of decoloration and pH adjustment.
