The difference between official script, strict style and two-king font
Official script, also called Han Li, is a common solemn font in Chinese characters. Its writing effect is slightly wide and flat, and the horizontal painting is long and the vertical painting is short, showing a rectangle, paying attention to "silkworm head and goose tail" and "twists and turns". Lishu originated in the Qin Dynasty and was compiled by Cheng Miao.
Yan Style was created by Yan Zhenqing, a calligrapher in Tang Dynasty. Its regular script structure is square and dense, the strokes are light and heavy, the brushwork is vigorous and round, and the momentum is solemn and vigorous.
The two kings' calligraphy is very good in all aspects, such as Li, Cao, Kai and Xing. They study the body, imitate their hands, learn from others' strengths, prepare their bodies and melt them in one furnace. They got rid of the style of writing in Han and Wei dynasties and formed their own family, which had far-reaching influence. The style is peaceful and natural, the brushwork is euphemistic and subtle, and it is beautiful.
