What do foreigners eat for three meals a day?
Americans eat three meals a day:
1. Breakfast is usually eaten at home and is relatively simple, with juice, cereal, coffee, sausage and eggs.
2. Lunch is usually eaten fast food, like sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, etc., with some vegetables and drinks.
3. Dinner is the most substantial of the day, such as eating at home, and the usual entrees include steak, pork chops, barbecue, fried chicken, etc., with greens, bread and butter.

The British eat three meals a day:
1. Breakfast
The traditional English breakfast includes fried bacon, sausage and fried toast. This is called "pancakes". But nowadays most people are too busy to eat this kind of breakfast every day, so the most popular types of breakfast nowadays are:
A bowl of cornflakes with buttermilk; some yoghurt with fresh fruit or; toast spread with jam
Tea, coffee or fruit juice is often drunk with breakfast.
Britons still enjoy a traditional English breakfast on weekends. Traditional English breakfast was served in all hotels and inns, especially the well-known family hotels (B & B's).
2. Lunch
British people have a quick lunch, unlike the Italians. Lunch usually takes only thirty to forty minutes - many English people eat sandwiches, perhaps because they were invented in England. Usually people made the sandwiches at home in the morning and ate them at lunchtime - sandwiches were a British convenience. An equally popular lunch was baked potatoes.
Snacks are very common in Britain, especially chowkies, and are served especially in the morning at about eleven o'clock and in the afternoon at about three o'clock. British children are the world's biggest sweet eaters, which makes British dentists very busy.
3. Dinner
Dinner is the main meal of the day and usually consists of two courses - meat or fish and vegetables - followed by dessert (also known as pudding). British children know to eat all the meat and vegetables before eating the pudding.
Frozen cooked food is very common in Britain, with microwave ovens in almost every home, and it's common for British people (especially schoolchildren) to buy a portion of frozen cooked food, put it in the microwave oven and eat it while watching television - this is called having a "TV supper".
Foreign food is also popular in Britain. Supermarkets are full of Indian, Chinese, Italian, Greek and Japanese food - in fact food from all over the world.
A cup of tea (with milk) is usually served after dinner
