Ocean study room, located in the fishing village of West Island, Sanya, is the first public library in West Island, which was transformed from three abandoned fishing boats and officially opened to the residents of the island free of charge on August 25th. As the first public library on the island, there are currently 2,000 carefully selected books on children, current affairs and literature and art, and it is planned to increase to 4,500. On September 8, the reporter saw in the "sea study" that the study composed of these three fishing boats has its own characteristics. On the first boat, about 30 square meters of space was full of books. People can choose their favorite books here, and then sit down and say, "read whatever pages the wind blows." The boat in the middle, a square table and seven or eight chairs, founder Qin Jiayi said, this is the place where ideas collide. The walls on both sides are decorated with rudders and ship wood, and the "map of fishing grounds in the northern South China Sea" and "small fish" hanging overhead reveal a strong island atmosphere. The third ship is a "lodging ship". In addition to the bathroom in the middle, there are eight beds at both ends, not only with air conditioning, but also with wall lamps and a small desk. Through the round hole in the bow and stern and in the middle, you can see the sea and sky landscape and the customs of the fishing village.

The transformation of abandoned fishing boats into tourist stations is a creative exploration made by Sanya to promote the transformation of fishing boats into jobs on the basis of excavating Yi culture. Of the first batch of 24 fishing boats, 3 were transformed into "sea study rooms", and the remaining 2/kloc-0 fishing boats will restore and display Tujia traditional culture in various forms after transformation.
