China's major plays

There are ten major operas in China, namely Beijing Opera, Kunqu Opera, Henan Opera, Pingju Opera, Yue Opera, Huangmei Opera, Quju Opera, Yuediao Opera, Lvju Opera and Shanghai Opera.

9. Lu Opera, also known as disguised dulcimer and Shaanxi Opera, is an intangible cultural heritage. It is one of the eight major operas in China and the most representative local opera in Shandong. Popular in most areas of Shandong University and parts of Jiangsu, Anhui and Northeast provinces. It originated in the Yellow River Delta in the northeast of the mountain and evolved from Qin Shu. Its music belongs to banqiang, and it also sings Qupai. The main accompaniment instruments are harpsichord, dulcimer, sanxian and pipa, which are collectively called "four major pieces of Lu Opera". 10, Shanghai Opera is a local opera of Han nationality. Popular in Shanghai and Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. Dongxiang tune is a kind of folk song that originated in Pudong, Shanghai, and was formed in the beach spring of Shanghai in the late Qing Dynasty, during which it was influenced by Suzhou beach spring.
