Buddhism's explanation of human origin

As far as Mahayana is concerned, it is recorded in detail in the Shurangama Sutra.

This question is the same as that of Buddha Sakyamuni asked by the venerable Buddha of Fulou. See the fourth volume of Shurangama Sutra for details.

To put it simply, it is what the Shurangama Sutra says: If you don't think about it, you will be nameless. Then "ignorance leads to three details, and the boundary is six thick", forming the dharma circle.

Quantum physics finds that the world is actually composed of concepts, information and ideas.

Traditional mechanical physics, limited by the scientific research conditions at that time, came to a narrow conclusion. Modern quantum physics has broken through this narrow world view and studied that molecules, atoms and electrons are divided into quarks and continue to be divided into quarks. The final elementary particles don't actually exist. The so-called elementary particle is wave (string), that is, "one thought is unconscious." Originally, the world was clean, equal and equal. Fluctuation is "nameless", the basic particles formed by fluctuation are "three small particles born without knowing, and the boundary is six thick", and the basic particles constitute the world.

In this respect, you can refer to the quantum physics movie "We Know an X".

Before learning Mahayana, you must lay a good foundation, otherwise you will definitely spend time and energy, and then you will feel that your kung fu is ineffective. At that time, it will be bad to doubt and slander Buddha.

In fact, the Buddha made it very clear to us. According to the Buddhist scriptures, it is not a disciple of the Buddha to learn Mahayana before Hinayana.

There is a more vivid story in the Hundred Similes Classic. A fool saw that other people's rich families had three beautiful floors, so he called a carpenter to build the third floor. The carpenter said, if you don't build the first floor or the second floor, where can you build the third floor? The fool said, I don't need to build the first floor or the second floor, I just need the third floor. Everyone laughed at the fool.

So did our four disciples. If you don't take the third test, lay a good foundation and study step by step, you will be no different from that fool.

Mahayana is a tall building. To build a tall building, you must have a foundation. The foundation is solid and the tall building is stable. The foundation is Hinayana Buddhism.

Without the Hinayana foundation, the tall building is supported by several bamboo poles, or it looks good at first, but it is in danger of collapse at any time.

Throughout history, Hinayana Buddhism in China declined. Is there anything wrong with Buddha?

Buddhism emphasizes substance, not form. In fact, all the eminent monks and great virtues in China have been based on Confucianism and Taoism, replacing Hinayana Buddhism. Therefore, brilliant achievements have been made in practice, which is worth learning.

There are many textbooks for learning Hinayana, and Disciples Rules is a very good choice.

For Hinayana, the following is an excerpt from Buddha's enlightenment for your reference.

Buddha is not interested in discussing unnecessary metaphysical problems. These are pure fantasies and can only create unwarranted problems. He described them as "dramatic Yuan Ye". It seems that a few of his disciples can't understand Buddha's attitude. Because there is an example: a disciple named Hao Tongzi once asked the Buddha ten famous metaphysical questions to answer. [Note 34]

One day, when Hao boy was sitting in the afternoon, he suddenly got up and went to the Buddhist temple. After saluting, he sat down and said:

"Buddha! I was sitting alone, and it suddenly occurred to me that some questions were never explained by the Buddha, or were shelved or rejected. These questions are: (1) Is the universe eternal or (2) Is it not? (3) Is it finite or (4) infinite? (5) Are the body and mind the same thing, or (6) Are the body the same thing and the mind the same thing? (7) Does the Tathagata still exist after death, or (8) does not exist, or (9) does both exist and (at the same time) does not exist? Or (10) neither exists nor (at the same time) does not exist? The Buddha never explained these problems to me. I don't like this attitude, and I can't understand it. I'm going to the Buddha to find out. If the Buddha explains it for me, I will continue to practice Sanskrit under his seat. If he doesn't explain to me, I'll leave the monk group and go somewhere else. If the Buddha knows that the universe is eternal, please explain it to me like this. If the Buddha knows whether the universe is eternal, please make it clear. If the Buddha doesn't know whether the universe is eternal or not, then those who don't know this should just say,' I don't know, I don't understand'. "

The Buddha's answer to the boy is of great benefit to millions of people who waste their precious time on metaphysics and disturb their peace of mind unnecessarily.

"Hao young man, have I ever said to you:' Come! Good boy, come down to my seat and learn Sanskrit. I'll answer these questions for you. " ? "

"Never, Buddha."

"So, boy, tell me about yourself. Have you ever told me:' Buddha, I practice Sanskrit under the Buddha's seat, and the Buddha will answer these questions for me.' ? "

"No, Buddha."

"For now, Hao young man, I didn't tell you' come and practice Sanskrit under my seat, and I'll explain these questions to you' and you didn't tell me' Buddha, I practice Sanskrit under the Buddha's seat, and Buddha will answer these questions for me'.

In that case, you idiot! Who abandoned who? [Note 35]

"Hao young man, if someone says,' Unless he explains these questions to me, I don't want to practice Sanskrit under the Buddha', this person will have died before getting the Tathagata's answer. Hao Boy, if a person is injured by a poisonous arrow, his relatives and friends will take him to see a surgeon. If that person once said: I don't want to pull out this arrow until I know who shot me; Is he Khrushchev (warrior), Brahman (religious teacher), Veda (peasant) or Shoutuo (untouchable)? His name and family; Is he tall, short or medium height? Whether his skin color is black, brown or gold; He comes from that town. I don't want to take this arrow out unless I know what I was shot by and what the bowstring is like; What kind of arrow; What kind of feather is arrow feather? What material is the arrow cluster made of? Boy, this man must die. I don't know these answers. Good boy, if someone says,' I don't want to practice Sanskrit under the Buddha's throne unless he answers my question about whether the universe is eternal,' this person will die before he knows the Tathagata's answer. "

Then, the Buddha explained to the boy that Sanskrit had nothing to do with this view. No matter how one looks at this problem, there are life, old age, bad life, death, sorrow, sorrow, pain and distress in the world. "In this life, everything I say can be destroyed, and so on, for nirvana."

"So, brother Hao, remember: what I explained has already been explained. I didn't explain it, which means I won't explain it again. I didn't explain anything. The universe is eternal? Is it eternal? I won't answer ten questions. Hao Xiaozi, why don't I answer these questions? Because they are useless. They have nothing to do with practicing Sanskrit. They can't make people hate leaving, clinging, entering and disappearing, but get peace, deep vision, round feeling and nirvana. So, I didn't answer these questions for you. "

"So, let me explain, what is it? I explained suffering, the beginning of suffering, the end of suffering, and the way to eliminate suffering. [Note 36] Hao Xiaozi, why should I explain this? Because they are useful. They are fundamentally related to the practice of body and mind in Sanskrit, and can make people dislike separation, persistence, extinction, quietness, depth, roundness and nirvana. So I explain these laws. " [Note 37]
