The development of history
The construction of Diaoyutai State Guesthouse began at 1954, when the government of China decided to build a hotel that could receive foreign heads of state and dignitaries. After many consultations and design, the construction started on 1955. The whole project lasted for 5 years and was officially completed and put into use on 1959.
In the process of construction, China government pays attention to the architectural style and cultural connotation of the hotel. The overall architectural style of the hotel combines Chinese and western architectural features, and the building materials are mainly blue tiles used in traditional buildings in China, which embodies the traditional elements of China culture. At the same time, the interior decoration of the hotel also adopts the elements of China traditional culture, such as white marble, rosewood and other materials, as well as China paintings and other works of art, which makes the hotel full of strong China culture.
Hotel facilities
Diaoyutai State Guesthouse covers an area of 1.70 mu, with a building area of1.2000 square meters. There are five hotels, of which the main building is seven stories high, and there are many functional areas such as presidential suite, state guest suite, ordinary suite, restaurant, conference room and auditorium. In addition, the hotel also has tennis courts, swimming pools, gyms and other leisure and entertainment facilities to provide all-round services for guests.
