New China Design Concept and Style Requirements

For designers, the new Chinese style gives two requirements from a macro perspective.

The combination of modernity and tradition

The new Chinese style should use modern new materials to express the traditional elements of China, such as using modern glass materials to express the classical patterns of China, and inserting stainless steel materials into traditional Chinese furniture.

Traditional spiritual culture is the foundation.

On the basis of traditional spiritual culture, the new Chinese style should deduce new connotations in space. For example, the traditional Chinese space should pay attention to hierarchy, and the new Chinese space inherits this requirement.

Create a sense of spatial hierarchy

Space pays attention to layering, and we can use panes, screens and antique shelves to realize the layering of space in the new Chinese style. This division shows the characteristics of large space but not empty, obviously opaque, heavy but not heavy.
