On the Influence of Confucian Culture on China Traditional Culture

The influence of Confucian culture on the traditional culture of China has enriched the traditional moral treasure house of China. At the same time, it shaped the traditional moral quality of China people.

Introduction to Confucianism:

Confucianism, also known as Confucianism, originated in the Spring and Autumn Period of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and became the orthodox thought of China society since the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. It has a history of more than 2500 years since Confucius. If we make a comprehensive survey of the contents, forms and social functions of Confucianism, it is generally believed that there are four distinct historical development stages of Confucianism in China.

Ideological system:

Confucius constructed the philosophical categories of benevolence, righteousness, propriety and wisdom ("benevolence is the way to cultivate one's morality" and "intellectual salute"). Mencius holds high the banner of benevolence and righteousness, which is a festival of Confucius' benevolence. Mencius' denunciation of Mohism's thought of universal love is based on the restraint of universal love (universal love and benevolence) in the Book of Changes.

Confucius talked about "holiness", and the so-called "holiness" actually refers to people's ability to understand heaven and man. Therefore, Confucianism says that everyone can be a saint and everyone is Yao and Shun. The essence of Confucianism lies in the Book of Changes. The Book of Changes says: "The way to cultivate people lies in benevolence and righteousness" and "intellectual inferiority". "Righteousness" and "wisdom" are the counter-measures of Confucius' original "benevolence" and "courtesy".

Confucius thought and Mencius thought;

1, Confucius thought:

Confucius (55 BC1-479), a native of Lu in the Spring and Autumn Period, was the founder of primitive Confucianism. Benevolence has three meanings, one is that the benevolent loves others. All people, old and young, high and low, have their loveliness. The way to love others is the way of loyalty and forgiveness. I want to stand up and stand up, I want to achieve it and I am loyal to it; Do as you would be done by.

Second, self-denial is benevolence. Rites are rites of the week, and respect for relatives is the foundation. Loyal to father, kind to son and filial to younger brother are the order of ideal society. Respecting the humble, caring for the young and caring for the young are the rules of the lover society. The third is the benevolence of a gentleman. Respectful, tolerant, trustworthy, sensitive to benefit the world, is a benevolent person. If you are respectful, you will not regret it; Forgiveness will win many people; If you are trustworthy, you will be responsible; Sensitive is active; If you are generous, you can make people. The Analects of Confucius has been handed down for twenty times.

2, Mencius thought:

Mencius (about 372 BC-289 BC) was born in Zou, a native of Lu during the Warring States Period. Mencius explained benevolence with his heart and asserted that benevolence must be good. Everyone has compassion and kindness. Everyone has a heart of good and evil, both good and evil. Everyone has respect and courtesy. Everyone has a heart of right and wrong and wisdom. Four virtues come from four ends. If the fire starts, spring will begin.
