Zhou Lian Creek's "Tai Chi Tu Zhi Cheng Thought" Zhou Lian Creek, whose real name is Dunyi, the word Maoshu, formerly known as Yanshi, avoided Song Yingzong's old taboo, and was born in Daozhou Yingdao (now Daoxian County, Hunan Province), named Yuan Gong. Born in the first year of Tianxi in Song Zhenzong (10 17), he died in the sixth year of Zongshen Xining (1073) at the age of 57. He used to be the chief bookkeeper and several county magistrates in Fenning County, Hongzhou, and later served as the coach of Nan 'an Army to join the army. In his later years, he successively served as a judge in Guangdong, an arranger in Guangdong, and a rebel in Zhinan, with political voices everywhere. In his later years, he lived in seclusion under the Lotus Peak of Lushan Mountain and built Lianxi Bookstore. Scholars called him Mr. Lianxi. Huang Tingjian called him "a man of noble character, with a free and easy mind, like a romantic moon" (Biography of Taoism in Song Dynasty).

Lianxi is regarded as the founder of Taoism in the missionary pedigree, and is listed as the first of Taoism in the history of Song Dynasty.
