Tango is a duo dance, the earliest belongs to the Latin dance program, in the later evolution of the world dance five dance projects, the current tango is the official program of the International Standard Dance Competition.

Argentina's tango industry has developed rapidly and achieved remarkable results. The tango industry, with its musicians, dancers, music tapes and books, is worth $2 billion a year worldwide, with a return to Argentina of $180 million, which will climb to $400 million in five years.

According to industry insiders, $180 million is equivalent to the combined annual value of Argentina's wine and other alcohol exports.

After five years, $400 million would be half of the annual export earnings of meat ($829 million) and significantly more than the combined earnings of fisheries ($297 million) and footwear ($36 million).
