Xingyiquan, practicing for war.

Don't drill far with one hand and put the other hand under your stomach. You should drill together with your front hand, and the back hand should follow your front wrist closely, with your arms crossed in front of your face, and then split forward with trembling and explosive force. This is the shelf set by Nanjing Martial Arts School in those days.

1993 Mr. Pei xirong, who once worked in Nanjing martial arts school, secretly said to disciple Yin, "I have the same intention as others, but I just follow my hand when I start drilling, which is decided by Nanjing martial arts school." Mr. Pei Lao wrote many books in his life. Maybe God called away a life too suddenly, or maybe Jiabao didn't want to share it with others. He never mentioned it in his works. I discussed with Mr. Yin and posted it on the Internet to "share resources" with my friends. I made a video upload for this.

Form and meaning It has long been said that "the tiger holds its head". When a carnivore fights, its two "hands" are placed near the head and quickly reach out to the opponent's face and eyes. When a tiger hunts, it will grab its prey by the head and bite its prey by the neck. It can be seen that "holding the head tiger" should not only hold (protect) its own head, but also hold (hit) the other's head. A few years ago, some martial artists also discussed whether to "hold the head by the tiger" or "hold the head by the tiger". Needless to say, "holding the head tiger" is a noun, just a show to scare people, and "holding the head tiger" is martial arts.

The core theory of ancient boxing spectrum; "When dealing with people, you should hold your head with your hands and be careful not to leave, such as marching soldiers and discipline." This is iron discipline. No matter whether it's China boxing or foreign boxing, it can't be violated. I am really tired. I have to put it down for a while and then pick it up. If you can't lift it, the referee will stop the game. If you lose, it will be dangerous to fight again.

It is said that putting the back of your hand under your stomach is to "protect your crotch", which confuses the defense zones of various "troops". Hand protection, head protection, heart protection, elbow protection, knee protection and crotch protection. When walking, the front foot should be buckled 15 degrees, and the back foot should not exceed 45 degrees. In this way, both knees are buckled, and even if his foot kicks between my legs, it will be blocked by my knees and I can't kick my crotch at all. If you feel unsafe, you can close your knees and lift your feet, and you can crack the ball and kick your legs. "The five elements are the fifteen levels, and no one keeps them." Why use your hands? The course of Muay Thai divides people into three sections, the upper section is defended by hands, the middle section is defended by hands, elbows and knees, and the lower section is defended by knees and legs, because defending the lower section with hands will make the head empty and easy to be knocked down.

Not only can you take your hands off your head, but you can't take your hands off your head. Pay attention to "tight forces" when dispatching troops, and break the scattered forces one by one. The two regiments are bound to become "horns", attacking with one hand and guarding the house with the other. Defense helps each other, and offense cooperates with each other. It's incredible that one hand has gone far, caught fire with the enemy, and the other hand is still sitting still under his stomach. So when one hand comes out, the other hand must follow closely. The former hand is a scout, the latter hand is an ambush force, the former hand is a "surprise attacker" and the latter hand is a heavy punch. The first hand destroys the enemy's defense, and the second hand is a fatal blow, which changes rapidly and cannot be released from time to time. If your hands are a little farther apart, you will lose the fighter. The practical application of any technique of Xingyiquan is inseparable from two hands. When one hand attacks, the other hand can't be idle, either control the opponent or keep the middle door. Xingyiquan proverb has long said that "going out of the hole is tight", that is to say, hands are closely followed.

The process of leaving the chamber is "shrinking" or "swallowing", that is, "sending" or "spitting" when turning over and chopping. No matter whether my opponent attacks or I encounter resistance from my opponent, don't fight hard. The first reaction should be to "swallow" the force point.

Physics tells us that the influence of external force on the rotation of a rigid body is not only related to the size of the force, but also to the position and direction of the force. Moment M= the product of force f and force arm d, when we push the door, the farther away from the door axis, the more labor-saving, and the closer to the door axis, the more labor-saving. Hands are two doors. The farther my hand reaches, the more people can push it. The closer my hand is to my shaft, the harder it is for him to push. I "swallow" the stress point, making it as close to my axis as possible and as far away from his axis as possible, so that I can overcome his great strength with small strength. People's strength mainly lies in the waist. When they make great efforts, they will inevitably make their arms close to the waist, instead of reaching out their hands. For example, just twist a small medicine bottle cap and reach out and twist it. To tighten the bottle cap of wine, you have to put your arm close to yourself. When tripping out, put one hand out of the distance, not to mention whether it is loose or not, and only lose first in mechanics.

Strike is a kind of "intimate contact". Xingyiquan advocates that "the feet should pass people, the body should deceive others, and the strength should be behind". Passing the ball is a kind of negative contact, and footwork and strength are a kind of infiltration. You must stick your body on it by "jumping out" and try to wrap your opponent up and walk away or open it by "jumping out". The distance will get farther and farther, and you will not be able to realize your personal strategic deployment.

How to "swallow" the power point? When he rushed at me, I sucked in the force point, he defended, and even when he grabbed my hand and pulled it back, I took the initiative to stick my body on it. Whether it's "sucking" or "sticking", I'm chasing my hand. It can be seen from "people chasing hands" that "pushing" is not pushing forward with fists, but sticking forward with hands, sucking back, and trying to keep your mouth close to your hands. Xingyiquan proverb says, "three bites at a time, hitting people is like walking." For those with three mouths, the tiger's mouth and the mouth of both hands are combined into one mouth, that is, the three mouths are in a line or zigzag. Go ahead, swallow hard, tear open your mouth and hit hard.

Don't underestimate purpose and defense. You can't go until you come, you can attack if you are defensive, you can stretch if you shrink, and you can shoot if you pull your bow. It is clearly written in the spectrum of Xingyi Boxing that this boxing is "still defending but not attacking" and "still soft but not rigid". The primary kungfu of Xingyiquan is "bright strength", the secondary kungfu is "dark strength" and the advanced kungfu is "turning strength".

Of course, coming, going, attacking and defending can all be transformed into each other. A surprised hand can also be turned into a real hand, and a "trip" can also be turned into a direct hit, depending on the other party's reaction. However, whether it is a "surprised hand" or a "real hand", both hands should cooperate closely. It is impossible to pull one hand out and keep the other hand still.

As for the practice of "falling over" chopping, you can take a big step at first. The so-called "hind feet are like cars, front feet are like plows". However, this kind of "push" can't hit people. We should gradually improve and pursue whipping force. When I was about to jump out, I had stopped the enemy by sticking to his body. The cutting range is within square inches. If I want to be fast, accurate, ruthless, crisp and thorough, I don't need a big step.

What the star Quan Yi created by Ji Longfeng looks like is impossible to research, but it will never be a state where one hand is drilling in front and the other hand is still under the stomach. If Ji Longfeng created Xingyiquan according to Yue Wumu Boxing Manual, then the "one-sided enemy" fists of Yuejia Sanshou embraced each other in front of their faces, just like boxing. If Xingyiquan is born out of a big gun, then the stab of the big gun is "pulling" and the split of the gun is "falling". The action of stabbing the gun is just to hold three mouths in a line in front of your face, and it is impossible to drill forward with one hand holding the gun.

Let's take a look at the older Xingyiquan, which is called "Four Fists and Eight Styles". When we turn to Baoding's 193 1, we find that it is nothing like Xingyiquan, that is, Xingyiquan's "Chinese ape-man". Although the old form has only eight actions, it is a form. From the actual combat point of view, it can be found in Yuejia Sanshou. I believe he learned it from Yue Wumu.

At first, the four fists and eight styles were called "head boxing", that is, the left hand caressed the inside of the right wrist to hold the strength, the whole body contracted like an egg, and then emerged like an arrow. The meaning of attack and defense is clear. This is the "Tian Tong Hammer" and "Diamond Skin" of the Yue family. Another example is Dai Jiaxin Boxing in Shanxi, which also maintains the traditional "small shelf" of twist drill. Therefore, this hand-following movement decided by Nanjing Wushu Museum is not against the tradition, but a return to the old tradition of Xingyiquan. Is to return to the martial arts.

Xingyiquan is a kind of boxing that attaches importance to attack and skill. This problem is worth talking about. If you wear a white coat and play Tai Chi Chuan in the park, it doesn't matter how you do it. Some people say, practice like this when you practice, but don't use it like this when you use it. Almost. Soldiers have a saying: "Practice is war". Have you ever seen troops practice assassination and play games? Habit becomes nature, practice according to actual combat, and fight can be handy. Usually practicing show, suddenly close combat. How did this happen?
