Common cupping methods

Cupping for disease prevention and health care is a traditional method of Chinese medicine, and it is even loved by foreign friends. So, do you know enough about cupping? Let's take a look at the cupping health care and methods.

Cupping flash fire method: hold an alcohol cotton ball with a long piece of paper or tweezers, light it with fire, and quickly wrap it around 1 ~ 3 times in the can (be careful not to heat the can mouth to avoid scalding the skin), then remove the fire, and quickly buckle the can mouth where it should be pulled out to make it adsorb on the skin. This method is the most commonly used cupping method, because there is no fire in the pot and it is relatively safe.

Drop wine method: drop 1 ~ 3 drops of 95% alcohol or liquor into the can, shake it evenly along the inner wall of the can, then ignite it with fire, and quickly buckle the can where it should be pulled out. Be careful not to drop too much wine, so as not to burn your skin when cupping.

Sticking cotton method: stick a piece of alcohol cotton with proper size on the lower part of the inner wall of the tank 1/3, ignite the alcohol cotton with fire, and quickly buckle it at the part to be pulled out.

Cupping can promote qi and blood circulation, relax muscles and tendons, relieve swelling and pain, dispel wind and remove dampness. In the self-regulation of the body, it plays a benign role in stimulating it and promoting it to return to normal function.

Warming effect: Cupping has a warm stimulation effect on local skin, especially on cupping, water pot and medicine pot.

Regulating the balance of yin and yang in the body: due to the phenomenon of self-hemolysis after cupping, a histamine-like substance is immediately produced, which flows all over the body with body fluids, stimulates various organs, enhances their functional vitality, and is conducive to the recovery of body functions.
