1. When people in Taizhou celebrate traditional festivals, they will carry out various celebration activities and ceremonies. On Lantern Festival, Tomb-Sweeping Day, Mid-Autumn Festival and other festivals, people will have traditional activities such as ancestor worship, reunion dinner and fireworks. The customs of New Year's Eve, Tomb-Sweeping Day, July 30th and winter solstice are mainly ancestor worship, and the ways of ancestor worship in these four festivals are different.
The staple food of Taizhou people is rice, supplemented by potatoes and wheat. The dryness of three meals a day varies from place to place. In terms of dishes, Taizhou people pay attention to delicious food and don't like strong spicy food. There are many seafood dishes in coastal areas, mountain products dishes in mountainous areas and plain areas. Taizhou people also have the habit of pickling pickles, salted fish, bacon and other foods. On the Dragon Boat Festival, Taizhou people also have the custom of making zongzi.
