Experience of visiting Guanzhong folk houses

Among the well-known ancient houses in China, most are in the Qing Dynasty and later, and the main building of Gaojia Courtyard is in the Ming Dynasty, which has a value. Most of the existing ancient houses are far away from modern cities, and there are not many bustling downtown areas like Gaos Courtyard, which has two values.

The life of tourism projects lies in individuality. The Gaos Courtyard is not as grand as the Wangs Courtyard in Shanxi, nor as exquisite and lifelike as Zhouzhuang in Jiangnan. However, Gaos Courtyard is a mansion of an official family, full of moving stories spanning 400 years, which is worth making a fuss about "home" culture. According to this idea, the Gaos Courtyard was designed as a personalized "home" to show the life of the people in Guanzhong, Shaanxi. When visitors walk into the house, they can feel a kind of intimacy of traveling through time and space and visiting their neighbors hundreds of years ago. Since it is "home", tourists can't just look for feelings from photos and home furnishings. There must be living people, living things and living life in it. Therefore, the tourism projects of Gaojia Courtyard are all participatory except the architectural style, housing pattern and furniture arrangement of ordinary houses.

Xi 'an, an ancient city, has a profound cultural background and a very active calligraphy and painting market. There is also a studio in Gaos Courtyard, but the main purpose of the painting and calligraphy room in Gaos Courtyard is not to trade, but to create an atmosphere of scholarly family. This painting and calligraphy room is located on the second floor of the south building of the First Hospital. Most painters are students of the Academy of Fine Arts. Visitors can also draw pictures under the guidance of students if they want. The compound also invested hundreds of thousands of yuan to set up a vanilla beauty studio, and invested 654.38+10,000 yuan in clothing alone. Visitors can not only take pictures in ancient costumes as a souvenir, but as an independent tourism project, photographers can also take a whole set of antique photos in the courtyard at will.

The developer of the compound also provides language and etiquette training for all staff. Every important event and festival, all the staff members wear antique clothes and appear in the "home" in different identities, so that the whole compound can return to a specific scene at a specific time in the Qing Dynasty or the Ming Dynasty.

Whether the protection and development of ancient dwellings are closely related depends on whether the connotation of traditional cultural tourism is deeply excavated. Only by integrating traditional folk culture into market development can the protective development of ancient dwellings be realized. In order to find a project suitable for development, the developers of Gaos Courtyard have spent a lot of thoughts. At first, the developer introduced Tibetan "Thangka" art into Gaojia Courtyard according to his personal preference. Not only that, he also invented a vivid story. But no matter how vivid the story is, it is also divorced from the reality of Gaojia Courtyard as a folk house in Shaanxi, which can not arouse the interest of tourists. It is conceivable that the Thangka project can only end in failure.

Developers learned from this incident that the development of ancient dwellings should be closely related to the real history and the lives of local people. There should be a more accurate "focus" between the protection of ancient houses and market benefits. After analysis, the developer finally positioned the compound as an exploration of the "residential culture"-folk culture in Guanzhong area. In this way, visitors entering the compound can learn about the ancient buildings and the lives of the ancients, and can also participate in them, which enhances the interaction of tourism. In March, 2004, Dang Fengju, a representative figure of shadow play in Heyang Opera, was invited to Gaojia Courtyard.

Shadow play is an ancient and unique folk opera art in China, which is very popular in Guanzhong area of Shaanxi Province. Guanzhong people call those who are good at shadow play "Eight Scholars". "Bashi" can hold two or even three shadow plays in one hand and perform fights and fights behind the scenes. One person can perform the actions of several people at the same time, accompanied by music gongs and drums, and the scene is vivid and dazzling. Party style residence is such a good "style". Dang Fengju studied shadow play with her mother since childhood, and once led a large performance group of more than 40 people to perform in various parts of Shaanxi. Later, when the troupe was depressed, Dang Fengju and two other colleagues were invited to perform in the courtyard for a long time. In Gaos Courtyard, Dang Fengju often plays games such as selling groceries, borrowing water, treasure chest, mourning and back swallowing. The main tourists are foreign tourists. After watching the performance, they often go backstage to learn to play with Dang Fengju.

There are three courtyards in Gaos Courtyard, North Courtyard and South Courtyard. At present, only a part of the North Courtyard and South Courtyard has been reconstructed. There is an ancient stage in the main body of the soon-to-be-developed South Cross Campus, which triggered the idea of "big family hall meeting" for developers. They imagined that China would take the lead in "restoring" the scene of the ancient famous family assembly with various performance forms such as Shaanxi opera, shadow play, puppet show and ancient music and dance with local traditional folk art features. Teacher Ma from the Institute of Historical Cities of Chang 'an University believes that this idea not only conforms to the official residence status of Gaojia Courtyard, but also fully demonstrates the folk customs in Guanzhong area, and "the market prospect should be good". A director of Shaanxi Song and Dance Theatre is currently helping the management of the compound to plan specific performances, and the "Hall Meeting" will receive a limited number of 280 guests every night. With the release of "The Meeting of Big Family Guild Hall", the overall planning of Gaos Courtyard will also be put in place. Focusing on the theme of "home" and folk customs, the hospital will launch activities such as "going to the Gaos Courtyard for the New Year on the first day of the first month" and "returning to the Lantern Festival 400 years ago" in the upcoming festivals. When winter comes, the teahouse in Gaos Courtyard is going to hang red lanterns and set up a charcoal brazier, so that guests here can enjoy snow and tea while chatting with friends and spend a leisurely time in the nostalgic atmosphere of the courtyard. At present, the total number of tourists in Xi exceeds 1 1 10,000. After the development of the south yard of Gaojia Courtyard is completed and the overall planning is in place, Gaojia Courtyard can attract at least 800,000 tourists to the North Yard Gate area every year.
