Five types of windows

Five types of windows: sliding windows, casement windows, valgus windows, shutters and European windows.

1. Sliding window: Sliding window can be divided into horizontal sliding window and vertical sliding window according to different sliding directions. The horizontal sliding window needs a rail groove on the sash, and the vertical sliding window needs pulleys and balancing measures.

2. casement window: casement window is divided into push-pull type and hanging type. Its advantages are large opening area, good air permeability, good sealing, sound insulation, heat preservation and impermeability.

3. Everted windows: Everted windows generally refer to suspended windows. Hanging window refers to a window with hinges installed on the upper side of the window, which opens inward or outward. It is a new form developed on the basis of casement window.

4. Shutter: Shutter is a kind of window, which originated in China. In ancient buildings in China, there were straight lattice windows, which were used in all dynasties from the Warring States to the Han Dynasty. The vertical bar is called straight lattice window, and the horizontal bar is called lying lattice window.

5. European-style window opening: European-style window opening is used to decorate doors and windows. According to different regional cultures, it can be divided into northern Europe, simple Europe and traditional Europe.
