Four elements of classical dance
The four elements of classical dance:
1. Shape: shape, various dance postures based on twisting, tilting, rounding, curving and the corresponding technical skills, as well as the display of the process of momentum.
2, God: national charm, demeanor and temperament (the connotation of classical dance).
3. Strength: strength (inch strength), the method of exertion and rhythmic characteristics of classical dance, the contrasting methods of lightness and heaviness, rhythm and staccato, slow and fast, loose and tight, open and close (contrasting method).
4. Rhythm: rhythm and movement rules, plain, standing circle, 8-word circle is the essence of the movement of Chinese classical dance. Leaving the body and walking up the body, or leaving the upper body and walking down the body are the laws of movement of Chinese classical dance. The left-right, up-first, down-first, and flickering movements are the aesthetic requirements from appearance to interior.
Types of classical dance
1, Chinese style
Chinese classical dance was founded in the fifties and was once called "opera dance" by some people. It is a mixture between opera and dance, that is to say, it has not been completely metamorphosed from the opera. Calling it opera, it has removed the most important singing and recitation in the opera; and calling it dance, it still maintains a lot of the original state of the opera. Most of the dance movements that have been handed down are preserved in the opera dance.
2, European style
Generally referred to as ballet. Ballet, is the French translation of Ballet. European countries of classical dance drama collectively known as ballet, is a European classical dance as the main means of expression, integrated music, theater, stage art and other art forms of dance varieties.
3, Indian-style
By the Brahmaputra, Kathak, Kadakali, Manipuri, Odissi and Kuchipudi six traditional dance system. Its main artistic features are dance movements with distinctive rhythm and rhyme, strong plasticity, colorful dance mime handstyle with rich connotations and delicate facial expressions.
