Huawei's car-making strength is comparable to Tesla. Why not build a car?

The main reason why Huawei is unwilling to develop the automobile industry is that there are great risks in the automobile industry.

Huawei has indeed made great progress and development in the level of science and technology in recent years, which also makes everyone recognize Huawei's scientific and technological strength more and more. In the past two years, many domestic Internet companies have begun to put their development goals and directions in the field of car-making industry. Therefore, there has been a wave of Internet-made cars in China, and Huawei, as one of the companies with the strongest scientific and technological strength in China, has not chosen to set foot in this industry. It can be seen from Huawei's decision that Huawei did not choose to do so, but also had its own deeper considerations.

First, the automobile industry is an industry that accumulates technology for a long time. These world-class automobile brands have developed and succeeded today only after decades or even hundreds of years of technology and experience accumulation. Although Tesla has made great progress in just a few years, the technology accumulation behind Tesla has indeed been supported by many top talents, and Tesla also suffered serious losses in the early days of its establishment, so in Huawei's view, the car-making industry will indeed bring great risks to the company's development.

Second, it is impossible for the electric vehicle industry to achieve breakthrough development in a short time. Although everyone thinks that the electric vehicle industry will become the mainstream development direction of the future automobile industry, at this stage, oil-gas fuel vehicles still occupy the mainstream market. Because if the charging problem of electric vehicles cannot be solved in time, the electric vehicle industry will soon face the bottleneck of development. Therefore, Huawei believes that it is really a wise choice not to enter the car market at this stage.

Third, Internet companies cannot compete with traditional car manufacturers. Although the car-making industry of Internet companies is in full swing, the accumulation of technical experience of traditional car companies is enough to ensure that traditional car companies can overtake the car-making industry of Internet companies in a short time. More importantly, traditional car manufacturers are superior to internet companies in terms of safety and brand effect, so Huawei believes that it is impossible to beat traditional car manufacturers.

Of course, Huawei has been thinking and discussing for a long time not to set foot in the automobile manufacturing industry. Moreover, Huawei does encounter many difficulties at this stage, which also makes Huawei not have much energy to get involved in the automobile industry.
