What are the ways to play backgammon?
There are two ways to play backgammon: Game 1: Both sides use black and white chess pieces respectively, and place them at the intersection of the straight and horizontal lines on the chessboard. The first player to connect five pieces wins.
Game 2: If you form a five-piece connection, replace any of the opponent's chess pieces.
The replaced pieces can be exchanged with the opponent's pieces.
In the end, the side that plays all the chess pieces first wins.
Extended information: The official standard chessboard in the backgammon competition rules: both sides play on a 15-way backgammon special chessboard (slightly smaller than the 19-way chessboard in Go). The left side of the chessboard is marked with Arabic numerals 1-15 from bottom to top.
The side is marked with English capital letters A-O from left to right.
As a game suitable for all ages, backgammon was once popular in universities, middle schools and primary schools across the country. At that time, students could be seen everywhere inside and outside the classroom who started playing backgammon with a piece of paper, a chessboard drawn, two pencils and an eraser.
With the development of backgammon, people gradually discovered that the advantage of moving first is very large, and finally came to the conclusion that "the first player will win".
For Gobang to become a competitive sport, the core issue is to solve the problem of "the first move must win" in the traditional Gobang method.
