What does brunch mean?
Brunch is a combination of breakfast and lunch. Brunch is not held every day, but usually only on Sundays, so foreigners often call it "sundaybrunch".
Its concept originated in Britain in the late19th century and was presented in the form of buffet. One writer described it as a Sunday dinner for "Saturday night revelers". After working hard for a week, people want to treat themselves on weekends, become manic enough on Saturday night, have a comfortable sleep on Sunday morning, and then enjoy brunch leisurely.
