Which department in China is responsible for accounting management?

The financial department of the State Council is in charge of the accounting work in the whole country, and the financial department of the local people's governments at or above the county level is in charge of the accounting work within their respective administrative areas.

There are many accounting departments, such as the Ministry of Finance, the tax department, the customs, the auditing department, the People's Bank of China, the securities supervision department and the insurance supervision department. They supervise the contents of various economic and financial parts of the country under authorization, but the financial department is the competent department.
