According to the statistics in the first quarter of this year, the new car penetration rate of L2 autonomous driving in China passenger car market has reached 23.2%. At the same time, recently, many new cars are equipped with L3 and above high computing platforms, laser radar and other hardware configurations, and the price has also dropped to the range of 200,000-300,000 yuan. It can be said that 2022 will be the year of mass production of quasi-L3 autopilot in China.
This is also accompanied by huge investment in research and development and operation. The R&D system of vehicle manufacturing is completely different from the R&D and operating system of intelligent cockpit and automatic driving. The latter needs to build a data-driven agile R&D and operational architecture. How to combine real-time perception, scene understanding and algorithm iteration to improve the cooperation efficiency of large-scale and distributed software and continuously optimize the operation efficiency will be the new core competitiveness.
From the user's point of view, the user's experience of intelligence is constantly refreshing. Users' demand for car experience is no longer the functional characteristics when buying a car, but whether they can get fresh scene experience, the latest digital content, new interactions and functions that keep pace with the times, and more and more understanding of user experience and service in the process of car use.

To this end, we set up a smart car cloud area in Shanghai, from the hardware selection in the cloud area to the parts on the cloud, which are highly combined with the special needs of the smart car industry for configuration and optimization. On the smart car cloud, we have built a complete automation tool chain on the cloud, such as automatic driving, simulation training, high-precision maps, cockpit and so on. , bringing out-of-the-box proprietary cloud services to car companies, so that car companies can focus more on algorithm optimization and experience improvement.
Innovative automobile service experience
Through cloud-based interconnection services, we are also helping to expand the new model of automobile service and explore innovative service value-added space.
Travel is an experience mode of scenario-driven service. By timely sensing the changes and needs of the scene and providing users with appropriate service choices, the driving experience of users can be greatly improved. The fragmentation and localization of services need a good cloud framework, so that Internet services can get on the bus more conveniently, and users can get these rich contents and services more instantly and on demand without downloading and installing.
Of course, good service is not much, but fine. How to better combine the user's specific car scenes to solve the current needs of users? Tencent's next-generation scene engine can combine the real-time scene perception of the car with the AI ? ? and data capabilities of the cloud, so that users can know more clearly where they are, what is around them, and where the service I want is. We focus on car scenes that users are generally concerned about, such as parking and charging, and polish the ability of intelligent scenes to help improve the activity of in-vehicle services. Now, Tencent has also opened a scene engine and an intelligent recommendation system to help car companies build an independent and controllable cloud scene engine integration platform.
In the automatic driving scene and advanced assisted driving scene, a new generation of intelligent driving maps was launched. Through the real-time connection of the cloud and the integrated data architecture, the data homology of high-precision map, ADAS map and SD map is realized for the first time, and the map shape can be automatically switched for different driving modes of manual driving, assisted driving and automatic driving, from lane-level accuracy to path-level accuracy, and multiple scales can be seamlessly switched. This form of vehicle-map-cloud integration can help solve the problems that restrict the practical application of intelligent driving function, such as data mismatch between various maps, high frequency of manual takeover of intelligent driving system and difficulty in unifying map update frequency.
