Egyptian traditional festivals. It is usually held on an auspicious day in late April every year. This festival has a history of 7000 years in Egypt. According to legend, on this day, the god of charity defeated the fierce god and brought spring to the people. Therefore, celebrating Huifeng Festival means celebrating victory and praying for charity, so that spring will always be there. Therefore, Egyptians must eat eggs, pickled fish, raw onions and other foods on the Huifeng Festival in order to get good luck. After Christianity was introduced into Egypt, the first Sunday after the full moon at the vernal equinox was Christian Easter. Therefore, Christians in Egypt often celebrate Huifeng Festival and Easter together, and generally set Huifeng Festival on the second day of Easter.
