The Portuguese Superliga is ranked 10th in the latest UEFA league table, so there is also only one Portuguese team directly promoted to the Champions League (UEFA regulations state that leagues ranked 7-11 have one direct promotion to the Champions League, and one Champions League qualifying spot)
