What agricultural cultural heritages in China have been awarded by the United Nations?

It is reported that the 5th International Forum on Global Important Agricultural Cultural Heritage hosted by FAO was held in Rome on June 5438+09, 2009. More than 350 representatives from different countries and international organizations attended the meeting, and four agricultural cultural heritages in China were awarded by FAO.

According to the report, Mei Duo Sai, Deputy Director-General of FAO, attended the forum and delivered a speech, saying that the China government attaches importance to the protection and inheritance of farming civilization, adheres to the concept of "clear water and green mountains are priceless", absorbs the essence of traditional agriculture, promotes the construction of modern agriculture and the sustainable development of agriculture, and strives to ensure that farming culture is not lost and continues to develop.

This forum awarded certificates to four newly recognized heritages in 8 countries/kloc-0, and four new heritages in China were awarded, including "Zagana Agroforestry and Animal Husbandry Complex System in Diebu, Gansu", "Sangji Fish Pond System in Huzhou, Zhejiang", "Ancient Mulberry Tree in the Old Course of the Yellow River in Xiajin, Shandong" and "Rice Terrace System in South China (including Chongyi Hakka Terrace, Youxi United Terrace, Xinhua Ziquejie Terrace and Longsheng Longji Terrace)".
