Morphological characteristics:

Scape length 5-15cm; Spikes are 2-6.5 cm long, and the upper flowers sometimes have only stamens; Bracts 5-7 mm long; Flowers are fragrant and pink; Lobes oblong, 5-7 mm long, apex obtuse, slightly fleshy; Stamens shorter than style, filaments filiform, anthers nearly oblong, concave at both ends, 2-2.5 mm long; The ovary is 3 mm long and the style is filiform.
Berries are 6- 10 mm in diameter and bright red when ripe.
