Du Yu suona
Du Yu Hakka suona has a long history, which was introduced into southern Jiangxi by Hakka ancestors. As early as 1600 years ago, there were many suona qupai popular among the people, including more than 280 traditional qupai. According to incomplete statistics, there are 1000 suona players in Yudu County. 1993 Yudu County was awarded the "hometown of suona art" by Jiangxi Provincial Department of Culture.
Du Yu Hakka suona has wooden tube suona, copper tube suona, aluminum tube suona and tin tube suona. The woodwind suona has a soft sound quality, and the copper tube has a loud sound quality. At present, the most commonly used are aluminum tubes and tin tubes suona. Du Yu Hakka suona can be divided into four types: large, medium, small and "hot pepper". The little suona is cheerful and elegant; China suona sonorous; The big suona is rough and imposing; "Pepper" has a sharp pitch and it's hard to play. And pick up and drop off distinguished guests. There is a jingle in Du Yu's suona hand: "The seven-inch suona is in your hand, in the five tones and six rhythms. I am very sad that there is no wedding and funeral. "
Suona is not only popular among the people, but also popular on the stage of Donghe Opera and Tea Picking Opera in Ganzhou.
