Restart the office building renovation project of Dutch energy company ALLIANDER

The new office project of energy company Alliander shows how excellent design can bring a seemingly outdated building back to life. The designer integrated several independent buildings into the same space.

It not only creates extra indoor space, but also gives the new office a meaningful "greenhouse" effect-to achieve a balanced use of energy. The design team of Folkmar & ampPartners cooperated with Alliander employees and put forward an innovative design scheme, in which 80% of the materials used in the office can be recycled. This building includes laboratories, studios, technical training centers and offices.

It was completely redesigned, and the designer used some existing elements, furniture and ceiling. Every floor of the office is connected to the atrium, and everyone can see the working status of colleagues on other floors, in order to further encourage exchanges and communication between employees. The design principle of the whole office space is based on the needs of related activities, for example, the workspace is to meet the needs of collaborative work, the library provides places for those tasks that need to be concentrated, and of course there are traditional office areas.
