What parks are there in Chengdu?

1. Baihuatan Park

Located on the south bank of Huanhuaxi in Chengdu, adjacent to Qingyang Palace and Du Fu Caotang, it covers an area of about 135 mu. The park is dominated by bonsai, highlighting Sichuan characteristics in tree planting configuration, especially orchid bonsai. The park is mainly composed of Yuan Lei Garden, White Garden, Huiyuan Garden, Xiyuan Garden, Guoxiang Garden and Taoyuan Garden.

2. Wangjiang Tower Park

Located in the south bank of Jinjiang River, Jiuyan Bridge outside the East Gate of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, with an area of 1 18 mu. The main buildings are Chongli Tower, Zhuojinlou, Huanjian Pavilion, Wuyunxian Pavilion, Liubeichi and Quanxiangxie. Wangjiangta Park was built here in Ming and Qing Dynasties to commemorate Xue Tao, a poetess in Tang Dynasty. In the Republic of China, it was turned into Wangjiang Tower Park, and now it is a national key cultural relics protection unit.

3. Tazishan Park

Located in the east of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, the eastern section of Shuanggui Road under Shuangqiaozi Viaduct. The park covers an area of 4 10 mu, with rolling mountains and vast terrain. Tazishan Park is also the main venue of the annual Chengdu Lantern Festival.

4. Nanhu Park in Chengdu

Located in Huayang Street, Tianfu New District, Chengdu, covering an area of 6,000 mu, it took three years to build and the investment exceeded 1 100 million yuan. Located in Huayang section of the south extension line of Renmin South Road in Chengdu-the core area of Huayang urban construction planning. It is an open park with ecological, leisure, sports and tourism functions.

5. Libei Park

Covering an area of more than 90 mu, it was built in 1932, which is one of the scenic spots in Dujiangyan, Chengdu. 20 13 On July 23rd, Lidui Park Branch Line was opened, belonging to Dujiangyan City and Dujiangyan Scenic Area.

6. Longchi National Forest Park

Located in Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province, only 84 kilometers away from Chengdu and 30 kilometers away from Dujiangyan, it is one of the 20 national key forest parks in China. Wild animals include golden monkey, giant panda, antelope, golden rooster and rock cow, which are praised as "wild plant gene bank" by Chinese and foreign experts.

7. Qingshuihe Park

Located in Wanshou Village, Jitouqiao Street, Wuhou District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, it is adjacent to Qingshui River and Third Ring Road, covering an area of 333,300 square meters, and adjacent to Dongpo Sports Park and Swan Lake Park. Chengdu is the first theme park famous for its lotus scenic spots. The theme of the park is ginkgo and hibiscus.

8. Chengdu Cultural Park

Located in Qintai Road, Chengdu, adjacent to Qingyang Palace, it was rebuilt on the site of Erxian Temple on 195 1, covering an area of 150 mu. There is a tomb of the Twelve Bridges in the park to commemorate the tombs of 36 martyrs who were secretly killed by Kuomintang agents on the eve of Chengdu's liberation. It is a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit. The park was awarded as a provincial key park from 2065438 to March 2008.
