Is Thangka in Nepal painted on high-grade printed paper?
Nepal is so backward that even ordinary printing paper has to be turned over several times in China.
Thangka in Nepal is their traditional culture. Painted on a specially washed canvas, you can sketch it with a pencil first, and then paint it. It takes a year or two to customize a good Thangka, and some famous painters are unwilling to accept a one-year customization of Thangka. As for the ordinary Tancheng Thangka, which is simple and rough and similar to scripture, it is also possible to complete a pair in one day.
Many China people also go to Nepal to learn Thangka painting.
